Cancellation & Refund Policy

SHANTEK DEV PRIVATE LIMITED is dedicated to assisting its users (contractors & labourers) and therefore has implemented a liberal cancellation and refund policy.

Cancellation Policy

Under this policy:

  • If the selected labourer does not arrive at the construction site at the agreed date and time, and fails to check in, the job work is considered cancelled. No cancellation requests will be accepted from either the contractor or the labourer.
  • Once the labourer checks in, the contractor cannot cancel the job work. The labourer must remain employed for the entire duration of the work unless the labourer requests early leave.
  • Cancellations will only be considered if the request is made within 24 hours of placing the order. Cancellations may not be entertained if the order has been communicated to the seller/merchant or if the product is out for delivery. In such cases, you may reject the product at the doorstep.
  • Perishable items like flowers and eatables cannot be cancelled. However, a refund or replacement can be processed if the product's quality is proven to be poor.

Refund Policy

  • The contractor deposits the wage amount for a specific labourer into the banking system of the SHANTEK DEV PRIVATE LIMITED website or mobile app, which is reflected in the contractor's B-Wallet.
  • If the labourer fails to check in, the wage amount remains in the B-Wallet and is accessible to the contractor.
  • If the labourer checks in but works for a partial duration, the contractor has the option to pay a proportionate amount to the labourer, and the balance will remain in the contractor's B-Wallet.
  • Refunds will be initiated within 5 to 7 working days after approval.
